From May 20 to June 2, 2026, every carpool trip you take in the Greater Houston area earns you Double Reward Coins, up to $50 total!

Whether you're a driver or a rider, Coins can add up fast. Redeem them for:

• Uber Rides for those nights you don't want to drive

Carpool Your Way: Two Ways to Win 🚗

We know that no two commutes are the same. That’s why we offer two ways to share the ride:

• Instant Carpool: Grabbing lunch with a coworker or heading to a game with a friend? Just start your navigation, tap the "Add Rider” button on the top right, and scan their QR code. You're earning double rewards instantly!

• Scheduled Carpool: Prefer a plan? Join or create a Carpool Group in the Carpool page with people you trust (friends, family, or colleagues). Set your schedule, and we’ll find you a match heading the same way.

  
  

Smarter Matching, Better Journeys 🛣️ 

We’ve updated our matching system to help you find a carpool buddy who fits your schedule. Here is what this means for you:

• More Matches: See more carpool matches around your preferred departure time window under “Available Carpools”. 

• Personal Preferences: Sort potential matches by what matters to you, whether it’s Route Efficiency, Cost, or our "Best Overall" recommendation.

• Send a Chat: Message directly in-app to set up a carpool or chat with someone you’ve already matched with to ask questions before the trip. 

• Safety First: Use a Matching Code to verify if you’re getting into the right car, and use the ETA/location sharing to let loved ones track your journey in real-time.

The Fine Print (Contest Rules): 📋 

• Carpools must be taken using the “add a rider” feature in the Trip Planner, or through the scheduled carpool page in the ConnectSmart app. Carpools logged manually in the Trip Log do not count.

• Carpools must be taken in the Greater Houston area between May 20th and June 2, 2026, and verified.
