Now, we are introducing Dynamic Incentives—a new feature that rewards our most active users for making travel choices that help reduce congestion on Houston roadways.

While solo driving is still the most common baseline choice in the Houston region, tracking data shows that ConnectSmart users are carpooling at a significantly higher rate, providing measurable relief to over-capacity highway networks.

One of ATDM’s components is Active Demand Management (ADM), focusing on strategies related to demand management.

Safety is one of TxDOT’s priorities, and to support those efforts, ConnectSmart has introduced numerous features, including Low Clearance Structure Warnings, Flood Alerts, and integration with Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X).

To celebrate the games, ConnectSmart is awarding double rewards from June 11 to July 19, 2026, for every time you take a green travel mode (carpooling, transit, walking, or cycling) to NRG/Houston Stadium, EaDo, and the area in between the two locations.
