ConnectSmart is currently listed in the app stores as “ConnectSmart Mobility”. The ConnectSmart app was first launched in Houston, TX, and it is supported by a combination of local, state, and federal funding. The Federal Highway Administration has committed federal transportation funds as part of its five-year, FAST Act-established Advanced Transportation and Congestion Management Technologies Deployment Program. In support, the Texas Department of Transportation has contributed state and local funds for ConnectSmart’s implementation. ConnectSmart is now available in the greater Austin area.
